It tells me to push the subscribe button and it will download automatically. Well, so far i've subscribed for quite a few mods and only one downloaded successfully
Then Steam seems to update fix all the smaller mods, even though I is still NOT creating symbolic links for some old and newly subscribed Other mods work fine. I do not see the mods in the hidden folder !Workshop, but they were downloading in the Steam client. This should prompt steam to download/redownload any mods you are subscribed to. This usually works for me, especially when I know an updated mod is available, since those little "mod update" tages haven't been showing up for me in over a month. steam workshop won't install my mods i have subscribed too but Skyrim launcher should now show the text indicating that it is working on your steam subscribed mods. doesn't seem to be working. Here's a possible fix: I subscribed to about 600 workshop items and I had the same issue. So, I changed my download region and restarted Steam and noticed that Steam was downloading something in the background, thats when I realized that it was my workshop content. I started up my game again and now everything is working fine.

I have auto download additional content enabled yet Steam does not appear to be downloading any mods when I load up Civ VI. Unsubscribing and resubscribing to mods that are not working. This thread is archived. Mods from the Steam Workshop are found in the Steam Workshop content folder, the location of which depends on where you installed Steam. For the laptop I'm on right now, it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content and then a numbered sub-folder that corresponds to Civ VI and then numbered sub-sub-folders (containing zip files) for each mod. I've had some issues with the mods working and I've just discovered that if you click the game to play in Steam and just leave the launcher up for a bit, the mods will update. There's no progress bar or anything, so it's a bit confusing at first. You can notice it happening by starting the launcher and then immediately clicking Data Files.
